The best way to improve the chatbot’s response time is to download and analyze the questions asked by your visitors.
Each conversation includes the response time for every question. By reviewing these conversations, you can easily identify which questions take the longest to answer.
Once you identify these questions, you can improve the related information on your website. A good practice is to create a clear paragraph of 4 to 5 sentences that directly answers that specific question.
This makes it easier for the chatbot to locate and process the information needed to generate a response.
For example, a question that requires gathering information from multiple parts of your website may take up to 12 seconds to answer.
If the same information is clearly organized in a single paragraph on one page, the response time may drop to around 4 seconds.
